Cause and Effect - Fishbone Diagram

ruben ruben Pro shared this on Apr 14, 2010

This is a ready-made Fishbone, or Ishikawa, diagram to get you started on your Cause and Effect analysis. The whole diagram is made as a group for easy drag-and-drop between the stencil and your canvas. Before starting to work on your Fishbone diagram, you should ungroup the compound shape. The primary and secondary causes are line labels which have been set parallel to the line. This means that you can have the lines at any angle, and the cause text will still be correctly aligned. Use the Label Offset slider to put the cause-text above or bellow the cause-arrow. If you need more cause-arrows (which you probably will), just duplicate one of the existing arrows and work from there.
