Entity Relationship (ER) Diagram (Bagui-Earp Style)

made by geotrice

This stencil contains shapes used for creating ER diagrams, used in the process of designing databases. This variant of the ER diagram follows the style set up by Sikha Bagui and Richard Earp in their book, "Database Design Using Entity-Relationship Diagrams". In this book, the authors follow a Chen-like model for designing the relationships.

Included are stencils for strong and weak entities, attributes (standard, multi-valued, and derived), keys (primary, partial, and foreign), strong and weak relationships, classes, constraints (overlap, disjointed, and union), cardinality (none, one, and two many's), and participation lines (partial, full, weak, and subclass). more…
