What kind of stencils are you looking to sell?
We're seeking high-quality stencils that help designers and other OmniGraffle users work faster and smarter. Here are a few ideas: stencils for designing web apps, iOS apps, Android apps, Windows apps, etc. We're also looking for stencils that help design professionals diagram things like floor plans, landscapes, network layouts, etc. If you have an idea for a stencil, email us and we'll do our best to work with you!
Can I sell my existing stencil?
Yes, you can. But keep in mind that we're looking to sell high-quality stencils. So, if you've worked hard on your stencil in the past and it already offers a lot of value for OmniGraffle users, that would be a good stencil to sell. If your stencil only has a few shapes and isn't something people are likely to purchase, it should remain free.
How much will I be paid?
We offer our stencil designers a 70/30 revenue split. So you'll make 70 percent from each stencil sale, and we'll make 30 percent.
How much should I charge for my stencil?
That really depends on the value that you're providing. We recommend selling most stencils for between $10 and $100. If you aren't sure how much to charge, we'd be happy to give you some guidance on the price.
What about credit card fees?
Graffletopia pays all credit card fees from stencil sales, so you can just focus on designing and selling your stencils.
How can I find out how much I've earned?
Just login to your Graffletopia account and view your sales reports to find out how much you're making. You can get sales reports for each month — both for individual stencils and all stencils (if you're selling more than one stencil at a time). And we update our sales reports in real-time whenever a new stencil purchase is made.
How will I be paid?
We pay our designers using PayPal so that we can quickly and efficiently pay designers both in the US and other countries around the world.
When will I be paid?
Every month, on the 15th, we'll send you a payout with your earnings from the previous month. This extra time allows us to close out our books and process any potential refund requests from customers. So, for example, if you made $1000 in August, we'll send your payout $1000 on September 15.
Once you issue my payout, when will I receive my money?
Since we use PayPal, you should see your money on the same day we send it, assuming you earned enough for a payout in the previous month.
How can I update my payout info?
You can update your payout info on the Payout Info page for your account.
Where can I view my payout history?
You can view your payout history on the Payouts page in your Dashboard.

When designing paid stencils, do you have guidelines I should follow?
Yes, we do. Please read our guidelines for designing paid stencils.
I'm already selling digital content for other apps. Can I sell these items on OmniGraffle?
Sure. Get in touch with us. We can work with you to convert your content into OmniGraffle's stencil format, especially if you've already generated vector objects in Adobe Illustrator or similar apps.
Is there an approval process of selling stencils?
Yes, your stencil must be approved by Graffletopia before you can sell it. We do this to make sure that the paid stencils on Graffletopia meet the high quality standards of our users.
How long will it take for my stencil to be approved?
Usually, no more than a few days. If you are starting to design a paid stencil, we recommend contacting Graffletopia first just to make sure that your stencil will be a good fit for our paid stencil market.
Are you open to paying stencil designers in advance to design new stencils?
We are not able to offer commissions for new paid stencils at this time. For now, we feel that sharing revenue from stencil sales is the best way to compensate stencil designers.
Are you getting rid of free stencils?
Not at all! Most stencils on Graffletopia will remain free to download with either a Graffletopia Pro account or basic account. We believe Graffletopia will thrive by offering both free and paid stencils. We also feel it is important to compensate talented stencil designers, and paid stencils are the best way to accomplish that.
Do you provide free Graffletopia Pro accounts to stencil designers with paid stencils on Graffletopia?
Yes, we do! Once your stencil is approved, your account will be upgraded to Graffletopia Pro for free.
